{ Let`s find magic even in the smallest things }
Bonjour!
The past months where characterized by a time of learning how to live with less.
But no matter how much we appreciate our homes, spending more than one year mostly in a single space could be enormously challenging - no matter how much we appreciate our homes.
Without having the freedom to surround us with people in our lives, or to visit inspiring places it might be quite demanding to refill our energy recourses.
Strolling through the past while referring to old traditions and family heritage is my kind of „tower of strength“.
Today I`d love to share with you a family keepsake which some of you might also find on a blooming meadow in your neighborhood from April through June:
„KRIECHENDER GÜNSEL”
{ Ajuga Reptans lat. }
or
„BUGLE FLOWER“
My grandmother used to pick this pretty little flower just before Easter and arranged them circularly in a bowl with water. The next day the stems are bent upwards - that’s why my granny named them „Auferstehungs-Blümchen“ or „Resurrection flowers“…
I loved this simple yet magical story which once again perfectly fits in the current times…
Let’s find magic, inspiration but also strength in the smallest things amongst us and let’s spread love!
I`m sure you remember similar stories from the past, which gives you an uplifting feeling…
Would love to hearing from you!
Best wishes & have a sunny day,
Sophie
