Surface pattern design has been always part of my work as a fashion designer for several brands and felt quite familiar to me. And as an artist of antique inspired ornaments, it was very clear to me, that historical styles and the beauty of nature will remain my main sources of inspiration. But where to start and how to get that unique signature style?
One of my favorite things about Bärbel’s teaching is that she’s always providing such in-depth lessons that makes the complex easy, by breaking it down into smaller steps. This helped me to keep my focus on my initial idea and get more confidence as a designer.
